Villa Ephrussi luxury wedding

I want to introduce you with another fabulous Villa Ephrussi luxury wedding I did in Southern of  France – this time in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat – a peninsula between Nice and Monaco – truly an amazing location for wedding photography.
Welcome to the multicultural destination wedding of Toby and Maryam. Why multicultural – you’ll see in photos below – we had two wedding ceremonies – first Christian and then Persian. We started out at Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat with getting ready photos of the bride and groom – and that’s where I spotted the challenge of the day – the groom had a twin brother – both dressed up fancy – how do you tell who’s the groom and who’s the best man? Well, you shoot both, aim more at the one closer to the bride! The fabulous gardens for the Persian wedding ceremony and evening reception are the ones at Villa  Ephrussi de Rothschild. Had an amazing day there – just guided you through it shortly – let photographs tell you the rest.
Thank you Ugis Bralens for being the “eye of another angle”, you where great.
Updated 12th Dec 2015 – I’ve removed all photos with recognisable people due to couples request.

Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. I was standing on the rock in the middle of the stream when they turned the fountains on. Water is wet.

This magical wedding venue can host about 200 people for a seated dinner and up to 300 for a cocktail type reception, but  there’s no accommodation available at the estate. That is why the couple choose to get ready in a different, but also fantastic wedding venue Grand Hotel  Cap Ferrat. They both are near by on the same St. Jean Cap Ferrat peninsula.

Wedding fireworks in St Jean Cap Ferrat

This absolutely breath taking view from Villa Ephrussi. The evening wind blowing from the sea is the perfect wedding gift from the Mediterranean Sea. I highly recommend getting married in the South of France. This exotic place offers such a big selection of wedding venues built during Belle Epoque. To my opinion the most amazing time in Human history.

And yes what a coincidence it was a full moon that night. The perfect sunset changed into even more perfect moonlight wedding party. It turns out that getting married in full moon is the first sign of a Strong marriage. So before picking a date check the moon calendar, it might help. It is also a great time to pop a question. They say that Full MOON bring out genuine emotions, strengthening the bond of marriage and commitment. I hope it was full moon when I got married with my wife.
I don’t recommend to have a wedding fireworks there, because you are allowed to make them just from a bout somewhere far away from a wedding venue. You can barely see it or associate it with your wedding. Instead you can order different type of wedding entertainment that could be performed closer to you guests. Or just save more money for your honeymoon.
