A pre-wedding day through Venice
Lina and Raycent travelled to Italy for a pre-wedding adventure. In Venice we moved between canals, bridges and the smaller streets, using the city itself rather than turning the session into a list of landmarks.
The photographs work because Venice keeps changing around you: reflections, boats, narrow passages and sudden open views across the water. I prefer to let a couple move through it and photograph what happens rather than stop for the same pose at every corner.

Canals, gondolas and Venice from a different angle
Part of the session happened on the water. A gondola or boat changes the pace immediately and gives a second view of the city without needing to travel far.
For photography, the useful part is not simply having a gondola in the frame. It is the movement, the changing background and the way the light reflects from the canal onto faces and buildings.

Why I would not plan a Venice pre-wedding as a landmark checklist
Venice is compact, but moving through it takes time. Bridges, crowds, boats and wrong turns are part of the day. Trying to force too many famous locations into a short session usually makes the photographs feel rushed.
I would rather build a route with different visual chapters: water, quieter streets, one or two recognisable Venetian views and enough time for the couple to forget about the camera.

A second chapter among Burano’s colour
We continued the session on Burano. The atmosphere is completely different from central Venice: smaller canals, bright houses and a more relaxed rhythm.
That contrast is why Burano worked as part of Lina and Raycent’s story. Venice gave us stone, water and old-world architecture; Burano added colour without making the photographs feel like a repetition of the first location.
