A beautiful time for alpine meadows, longer days and easier access to many locations. It can still feel unpredictable in the mountains, so the timeline needs breathing room.
Busy but dramatic
Strong summer energy, warm evenings and open mountain routes. The downside is crowds, especially around famous places like Lago di Braies and Seceda.
My favourite feel
Softer light, calmer atmosphere and richer colour. Autumn can be excellent for couples who want a more cinematic, less crowded Dolomites wedding or elopement.
Snow and silence
Best for couples who want a completely different mood: snow, clean landscapes, warm interiors and a quieter alpine feeling. Access planning matters more.
