Mayfair Wedding London Claridge's The Orangery Holland Park

Mayfair Wedding in London – Claridge’s, Baglioni and The Orangery in Holland Park

Mayfair wedding in London

Welcome to a Mayfair wedding in London. As a world-famous destination for luxury event spaces, Mayfair is a great place to start when searching for the venue of your dreams.

Whether you’re imagining an afternoon tea wedding at Mandarin Oriental, or you prefer to party late into the evening at the Dorchester Hotel, Mayfair offers countless possibilities. London is alive from dusk until dawn with great nightlife, incredible dining locations, stylish bars, and some of the best hotels in Europe.

Getting ready in Baglioni Hotel Kensington

Meet Martina and Magnus – a couple from Sweden who decided to come over here for a wedding, their own, of course. First of all, I met both of them a few months before the wedding, so I got to know them a little closer. What I learned was that I was on to something special, therefore I waited for their wedding eagerly. So, stay tuned to see and read about all of it.

We started the day at the Baglioni Hotel in Kensington, where Martina was having her hair and make-up done. Baglioni Hotel is a perfect example of Italian hospitality and one of the finest 5-star luxury hotels in London. The bride’s room was full of warmth and laughter. The bride wore a classic but elegant mermaid dress, neckline decorated with rhinestones The bride’s shoes were gorgeous purple – elegant kitten heels that add just the right amount of height to make her look even more elegant on her big day.

Wedding ceremony in the Orangery in Holland Park

After this, we went to Holland Park for the first look, a short pre-wedding photoshoot, and then off to the wedding ceremony at The Orangery. The Orangery in Holland Park has one of the elegant and most stunning private dining rooms in London with a breathtaking design, secure 3 am license, and stunning interior seating. Despite the constant buzz of favorite bars and restaurants, The Orangery is still a hidden treasure on lively Holland Park Avenue and it’s worth seeking out for an evening reception or daytime celebration. All in all And I loved the ceremony over there, it was very emotional as they usually are, but most of all. I really enjoyed the light over there. Finally, I loved the huge windows and overcast sky. The ceremony was followed by a drinks and canapés reception at The Orangery, where guests could mingle and enjoy the stunning views of Kensington Palace.

The fun part with the wedding ring

Yes, after the wedding ceremony, in the car park, I had a little “hiccup” with the wedding ring. It fell in the grill of the Rolls Royce, we almost lost it, fished it out with a broken umbrella. Seems like it’s always handy to have one of those with you 🙂 It’s just a part of being a wedding photographer. I felt bad for Martina and Magnus, but they had a great sense of humor about it. I was so happy when I saw them laughing about it later on.

Wedding reception at the Claridge’s

Finally, we were off to Claridge’s, an amazing wedding venue in Mayfair. Guests were welcomed with crystal glasses and a special spirit in everyone. The tables were set up beautifully, I enjoyed so much looking around the room, seeing their magic. This chic, classy and elegant London wedding is an inspiration for lovers all over the world. There are lots of pretty details in this wedding, from the delicate flower to the minimalistic white wedding cake.  The tables are decorated with pretty flowers and candles.

Yes, it’s me in the middle!

Anyway, time passed quickly while they danced. This atmosphere, these people made it an unforgettable day for me. Certainly coming back. The evening was full of speeches, lots of energy during dances, and a kidnapping. Oh yes, the groom got kidnapped by the best man at one point. It was quite a ride. 🙂 Great night with great people.
