Society of Professional Wedding Photographers
Yep, you read it right – the ISPWP (The International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers) contest results are here and there are some better news as well, got the First and Second place as well as 7th, 14th and 18th.
Thank you Victoria and Daniel, Jonas and Adam, Becky and Roger for being there in front of the lens, mother Earth for the light, Lord of the rings for discovering New Zealand and Nikon for providing the right tools.

How to use awards when choosing a photographer
These results belong to the summer contest reported in August 2011. They are part of the archive of my photography, rather than a claim about the current contest rankings.
An award gallery is a useful introduction to individual photographs, but it does not replace a complete wedding story. Look for the way a photographer handles the quieter parts of a day as well as the dramatic frames: family interactions, changing light and the movement from ceremony to reception.
Continue with the wedding photography portfolio, or read about the later third-place photograph at Château de Challain.
