Quick price guide

Wedding Photographer Cost in Italy

Experienced wedding photographer prices in Italy vary widely because a two-hour civil ceremony and a three-day Lake Como wedding are not the same job. Coverage time, travel, editing, guest count, multiple locations and extra events all change the quote.

CoverageTypical market rangeMy starting price
Short elopement / civil wedding€1,500–€4,000From €3,800
Professional half-day coverage€3,000–€6,000From €3,800
Full-day destination wedding€4,000–€10,000+From €4,800
Luxury / multi-day wedding€6,000–€15,000+From €6,200

The market ranges are practical planning ranges, not fixed industry rules. My quoted price is based on the actual wedding rather than location alone.

What changes the quote

What Affects Wedding Photography Prices in Italy?

01

Coverage length

More hours mean more photography, planning and editing. Full-day coverage is usually the best fit when the story includes preparation, ceremony, dinner, speeches and evening atmosphere.

02

Location and logistics

Lake Como boats, Venice water taxis, Portofino walking routes, Amalfi traffic and Dolomites access all affect realistic coverage time.

03

One day or multi-day

A welcome dinner, boat trip or next-day brunch adds coverage and editing but can also make the final story far more complete.

04

Second photographer and extras

A second photographer, film, albums, extra coverage or privacy requirements are added only when they genuinely improve the coverage.

FAQ

Italy Wedding Photographer Prices FAQ

How much does a wedding photographer cost in Italy?

My Italy wedding photography collections start from €3,800 for half-day coverage, €4,800 for full-day coverage and €6,200 for multi-day weddings. The final quote depends on date, location, coverage length, travel, number of events and optional extras.

Is half-day coverage enough for an Italy wedding?

It can be enough for a small elopement, civil ceremony or very simple one-location wedding. For most destination weddings with preparation, ceremony, portraits, dinner, speeches and evening atmosphere, full-day coverage is the safer choice.

Are travel costs included?

Travel is quoted clearly for the actual wedding. Lake Como, Venice, Portofino, Amalfi, Sicily and the Dolomites can require different flights, accommodation, boats, water taxis or transfers, so I prefer not to hide those differences inside a vague package.

Can we add a welcome dinner or next-day brunch?

Yes. Welcome dinners, rehearsal dinners, boat trips and next-day events can be added. If the wedding is more than one day, the multi-day collection is usually the cleanest starting point.

How do we book?

Send the date, location, guest count and rough timeline. I recommend the right coverage and send a clear quote. The date is secured with a signed agreement and booking fee.

Send the wedding details, not just the location

To recommend the right coverage, send your date, venue or region, guest count, rough timeline and if you are planning one day or several events. You do not need the final schedule before enquiring.
