Beginning beside the Thames
The first photographs used views towards Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament. Reflections and open river space gave the session an immediate London identity.
We started with movement and conversation, keeping the formal portraits for later once the couple felt settled.

Golden leaves and a quieter rhythm
Regent’s Park provided the strongest autumn colour and a break from hard city architecture. Paths, trees and softer light allowed for more intimate photographs.
The wardrobe and warm tones worked together without becoming overly seasonal or themed.

An outfit change and the approach to dusk
Chelsea’s streets introduced a more residential London background before Albert Bridge began to light.
This section bridged the warm daytime photographs and the cooler night sequence that followed.

Tower Bridge, St Paul’s and controlled city light
After dark, Tower Bridge and St Paul’s became graphic backgrounds. I used available city light with selective additional light to keep the couple clear without making the photographs look artificial.
The final frames feel more cinematic, completing the shift from autumn park to London night.

Using autumn colour as one chapter, not the entire concept
Regent’s Park provides the strongest seasonal colour, while Chelsea, the Thames and the City keep the session from becoming visually repetitive. The route moves from soft daylight into more graphic architecture and blue-hour city light.
Shree and John’s outfit change marks that transition. The later photographs use controlled light and darker streets, so the final gallery feels like a complete day rather than several unrelated location stops.

Autumn daylight falls quickly, so park colour should be photographed before the route moves towards Chelsea, Tower Bridge or the City. The final outfit and location need to be ready before dusk begins.
Leaves, rain and wind change day by day. The strongest plan uses the season as texture while keeping river, architecture and controlled evening light as dependable alternatives.
