Clare and Hung chose Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire for their wedding, using the house and estate as the setting for the full day. The original story follows them from the quieter preparation photographs into the ceremony, portraits and evening celebration.

The venue gives the gallery a clear sense of place without needing to turn the wedding into a tour of the property. Rooms, architecture and the Hampshire grounds appear as the day moves naturally from one part of the celebration to the next.

Preparations before the ceremony

The Mandeville Ballroom ceremony

Clare and Hung’s ceremony took place in the Mandeville Ballroom at Four Seasons Hampshire. The ceremony is the central point of the story, with the room providing context while the photographs stay focused on the couple and their guests.

For a ceremony like this I prefer to work around the real sequence rather than interrupt it. Arrivals, the processional, the vows and the reactions immediately afterwards carry more meaning than adding staged photographs during the ceremony itself.

Portraits around the Four Seasons Hampshire estate

The gardens and grounds give a different visual chapter after the indoor ceremony. A short portrait walk is enough to show the Hampshire setting while keeping Clare and Hung close to their guests.

The estate works best as context rather than as a checklist of locations. I look for useful light, a few strong backgrounds and natural movement, then return to the wedding rather than stretching the portrait session across the whole drinks reception.

Reception, speeches and the evening celebration

The final part of the gallery follows the reception and the change in atmosphere as the day becomes more relaxed. Dinner, speeches, guests and the party complete the sequence that began with preparations earlier in the day.
