From London to Paris in two days
Choey and Ahn travelled from the USA for a two-day story rather than trying to squeeze two cities into one rushed schedule. Day one mixed London with the white cliffs of Southern England.
Day two moved to Paris for a shorter pre-wedding session and finished with their ceremony on a Shangri-La terrace overlooking the Eiffel Tower. The result works because each place has room to feel distinct while the two days still belong to one story.
For a two-city pre-wedding trip, plan the travel as carefully as the photography. Accommodation, luggage and outfit changes all take time. Decide which city deserves the longer session, then choose a small number of settings that are meaningfully different rather than repeating similar views in both places.
A private terrace ceremony also needs its own arrangements. Confirm access, the ceremony schedule and photography permissions with your venue before building the portrait route around it. The timings from one couple’s celebration are a reference, rather than a promise that the same itinerary will fit every visit.
