Luxury Four Seasons Paris Wedding: Hire a Paris Wedding Photographer for an Authentic French Celebration

Thomas and Ingrid’s Paris wedding unfolded like a love letter to the city, with each chapter set in one of its most iconic venues. From a palace hotel where the day began to a Gothic basilica for their vows, followed by portraits in renowned gardens and mansions, and ending with a rooftop reception overlooking the Eiffel Tower, their celebration was both opulent and personal. As an experienced wedding photographer in France , I had the privilege of documenting every moment across these five venues. This story weaves together the elegance of Le Bristol Paris , the historic beauty of Basilique Sainte‑Clotilde , the artistic calm of Musée de Rodin , the stately charm of St James Hotel  and the glittering glamour of the Four Seasons Hotel George V .

Getting Ready at Le Bristol Paris

The day began at Le Bristol Paris , a hotel that embodies French elegance. Its sun‑drenched suites and classic décor create a serene atmosphere, perfect for capturing the anticipation of the morning. The light filtering through tall windows highlighted every detail, from the delicate lace of a bespoke gown by Celestina Agostino to the sparkle of earrings by Fred. Thomas and Ingrid prepared in separate suites, surrounded by luxurious textures and understated opulence. As they exchanged heartfelt notes, I documented each quiet moment, knowing these images would become part of their family history.

A Ceremony at Basilique Sainte‑Clotilde

After preparations, we travelled to Basilique Sainte‑Clotilde , a stunning neo‑Gothic church in the 7th arrondissement. Its soaring arches and vibrant stained glass create a dramatic yet intimate setting for a wedding ceremony. When Ingrid walked down the aisle, the light streaming through the windows bathed her in a warm glow, making every photograph feel magical. The hushed atmosphere allowed me to capture candid glances and subtle smiles, while the church’s architectural details provided a timeless frame for the vows. As a Paris wedding photographer, I love working in venues like this because they combine grandeur with emotional resonance.

Photoshoots at Musée de Rodin and St James Hotel

Following the ceremony, we moved to Musée de Rodin, a peaceful enclave filled with sculptures and manicured gardens. The interplay of art and nature makes this museum a dream location for wedding portraits. Thomas and Ingrid strolled along tree‑lined paths and posed beside famous works like The Thinker and The Kiss; the sculptures add a sense of timeless romance while the manicured lawns and tree‑lined paths provide natural frames. Next, we visited the St James Hotel , a château‑style haven tucked away in a quiet corner of Paris. Its sweeping staircase and grand rooms evoke old‑world charm, while the library’s dark wood and leather accents provided a cozy backdrop for more intimate portraits. These settings offered a respite from the city’s hustle, allowing the couple to connect and enjoy each other’s company as I captured genuine smiles and laughter.

Reception and Rooftop Drama at Four Seasons Paris

As the day turned to evening, we headed to the Four Seasons Hotel George V for the reception. Known for its lavish floral displays and Michelin‑starred cuisine, this venue brought the glamour of a Paris wedding to life. Guests dined under crystal chandeliers and danced to live music, surrounded by luxurious décor. One of the most memorable moments occurred when we sneaked up to the rooftop for a private shoot. The Eiffel Tower shimmered in the distance as twilight settled over the city, creating a dramatic backdrop. These rooftop portraits are among my favourites because they capture both the intimacy of the couple and the majesty of Paris.

Planning Your Own Luxury Paris Wedding

Coordinating five locations in one day requires careful timing and a photographer who knows the city intimately. Working with a wedding photographer in France means you benefit from local knowledge and logistical expertise. Thomas and Ingrid’s attention to detail extended to their attire: she wore Jimmy Choo heels, Boucheron and Mauboussin rings, and finished with a Dior polish; he wore a Valentino suit with Hugo Boss shirt , Louis Vuitton tie and Berluti shoes . These choices complemented the grandeur of each venue and helped create a cohesive style throughout the day.
