Lake & villas
Architecture, gardens, terraces and waterfront light give the photographs a strong sense of place without overpowering the people.
Lake Garda · Verona · Northern Italy
I have photographed real weddings near Lake Garda, including Villa Cordevigo near Verona in the Veneto region.
Cinematic, colourful wedding photography for destination celebrations around Lake Garda, combining documentary coverage, editorial portraits and a strong sense of place.
Why Lake Garda
Lake Garda can move from water and villas to gardens, vineyards, historic towns and the Verona side of northern Italy. That variety is useful photographically because the gallery can feel rich without turning the wedding day into a sightseeing schedule.
Architecture, gardens, terraces and waterfront light give the photographs a strong sense of place without overpowering the people.
The eastern side of the region adds vineyards, olive gardens and a different atmosphere from the better-known Lake Como look.
Welcome dinners, wedding days and next-day sessions can all feel connected when the photography is planned as one story.
Lake Garda wedding locations
Lake Garda changes considerably from one shore to another. I cover weddings around Sirmione, Salò, Gardone Riviera, Bardolino, Lazise and Malcesine, as well as Verona and nearby estates in the Veneto region.
For destination weekends, photography can be planned around travel times, guest movement, lake transfers and the best available light rather than treating Lake Garda as one single location.
The visual direction
This gallery mixes my real Villa Cordevigo wedding near Lake Garda with selected Italian destination work chosen for the kind of gardens, villas, portraits and celebrations that translate naturally to this region.
My approach
Most of the day is photographed as it happens. I am looking for expressions, interactions, movement and the atmosphere around you, rather than constantly interrupting the wedding.
When we make portraits, I keep them purposeful. A few strong photographs in the right light are more valuable than disappearing from your guests for an hour simply to collect locations.
Real local proof
Jenny and Shaun travelled from the UK for a relaxed summer wedding at Villa Cordevigo near Verona and Lake Garda. The day moved from preparations and ceremony into a reception around the estate, with the vineyard becoming one of my favourite portrait locations.

Coverage
For a broader breakdown of full-day and multi-day destination coverage, see my Italy wedding photography prices and coverage guide.
Lake Garda weddings vary enormously in scale. Coverage can stay focused on one wedding day or extend across a full destination weekend.
Preparations, ceremony, portraits, dinner and dancing with the timeline planned around the actual event.
Welcome dinners, boat gatherings, wedding day and additional sessions can be photographed as one connected story.
A second professional photographer can be added when guest count, parallel preparations or logistics make that worthwhile.
Planning Lake Garda
The strongest photography plan is rarely the one with the most locations. Travel time, ceremony timing, guest experience and light matter more than squeezing every possible viewpoint into the day.
If your wedding moves between Lake Garda, Verona or several venues, send me the outline and I can help work out where photography fits naturally without taking over the schedule.
