Hello from Italy – oh yes, I’m proud to present a destination wedding at Villa Cordevigo near Lake Garda, Italy. Meet Jenny and Shaun at their fantastic wedding. A nice hot day, pretty much what you’d expect from a summer wedding in Italy. The wedding took place in Villa Cordevigo, just outside of Verona, near Lake Garda – this is a very beautiful part of Italy. Actually, all of Italy is great for photos.

Villa Cordevigo for centuries was at the heart of the large landed estates belonging to Count Lombardo, and then it passed into the hands of families such as those from Dolci, Saladini, and De Moreschi. Today Cristoforetti’s Delibori family has turned Villa Cordevigo into a place aimed towards harmony. A charming wine resort that brings together well-being, health care, beauty services along with fine food & drink. The Michelin star-awarded Oseleta restaurant and its Cellar are both temples to wine tasting experiences that you’ll never forget! There is also an open-air pool & Spa available here which offers moments of unforgettable relaxation too.
The villa and its park are the perfect settings for elegant wedding parties with a country style at times past. In the villa’s lovely little patrician chapel, the ancient St Martin’s church. It is possible to celebrate intimate religious rites for limited numbers while the property’s extensive grounds and facilities allow for a choice of places to set a memorable reception in all seasons.
Among the Villa’s most desired areas for ceremonies is the gazebo in the park. It can be set up for the occasion, as well as the romantic De Moreschi Room! The garden is perfect for open-air events that have many pretty corners. Indoor receptions take place in the Barchessa, where 100 people can easily be seated.

Jenny and Shaun live in the UK, but they chose Italy and Villa Cordevigo near Lake Garda as their destination wedding location. It was a very relaxed wedding, everyone seemed to be having fun. It’s good for photos because you don’t have to rush around trying to capture everyone’s smiles before they go back into their little shells again.
The day began in the morning with the bridal preparations, followed by the ceremony (we were told it was a short one – which it was, but very sweet). After the ceremony, we took some photos here and then returned for the reception. The weather was pretty good too – sunny during the day, but not too hot – perfect for photos outside on location – we got some fantastic shots out in the estate. My favorite part of the property was the vineyard; it made for a great background for wedding photos.
