Autumn Pre-Wedding in London - Shree & John’s Golden Hour Story
Evening by the Thames — Where It All Began
Shree and John traveled all the way from India to London for their pre-wedding shoot, and we began our journey at the banks of the River Thames, right across from Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and the Houses of Parliament. That view never gets old — the mix of water, reflection, and architecture makes for instant romance.
We then crossed to Westminster Bridge, stepping onto its historic arches to frame the clock tower, parliament buildings, and the river all in one cinematic shot. If you’re planning a route here, my London pre-wedding photoshoot guide covers the best timing, crowd tips, and permits around Westminster.
As their London pre-wedding photographer, I love that moment — classic London, timeless couple, dramatic light.

Autumn Leaves in Regent’s Park
Next we headed to Regent’s Park, where fallen leaves carpeted the ground in warm golds and ambers.
Shree posed among them — swirling skirts, soft gestures, and that mellow low light every autumn lover dreams of.
It’s that gentle, diffused glow that makes London in autumn feel like a romantic film.
Outfit Change & Chelsea’s Quiet Streets
After capturing the dream in the park, Shree & John changed into fresh outfits.
We wandered into the narrow, elegant streets of Chelsea at dawn — calm, quaint, and perfect for subtle portraits.
That quiet before the city wakes up gives us privacy and beauty in the same frame.
Lights On at Albert Bridge
Just in time for the evening glow, we made our way to Albert Bridge.
As dusk fell, the bridge’s lights turned on — soft, elegant, almost whispering.
The way the cables and water reflected the light made it one of my favourite frames of the night.
Tower Bridge, St Paul’s & Studio Light Magic
To finish, we moved to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, then walked toward St Paul’s Cathedral.
Under night’s cloak, we used a small portable external studio light to sculpt the scene — striking contrasts, moody shadows, and couples shining bright.
The city waited behind them; they owned the frame.
Final Thoughts
Autumn in London gave us golden leaves, quiet streets, dramatic bridges, and that unforgettable night glow.
Shree & John’s journey was bold, romantic, and cinematic — exactly what I aim to offer as a London pre-wedding photographer.
