Notting Hill Pre-Wedding in London — Erin & Khalid’s November Stroll

Hello, London colour!

Meet Erin & Khalid — two souls with great taste in neighbourhoods and music.
We started their pre-wedding in Notting Hill, where pastel houses line the streets like a film set and every corner begs for a twirl. The plan was simple: walk, laugh, and let the colours do half the styling. If you’re planning a route like this, my London pre-wedding photoshoot guide covers seasons, timing, and permits.

As their London pre-wedding photographer, I kept things handheld and easy. No tripods. No fuss. Just real moments — the kind that look effortless because they are. New to London and want the classics plus Notting Hill charm? Explore my top London pre-wedding photography spots.

Portobello Road — market music & a mini dance

We wandered onto Portobello Road Market, where vintage stalls and street musicians created the perfect soundtrack. A guitarist started something soft and romantic; Erin & Khalid shared a quick symbolic little dance between antique cameras and fresh flowers.
Crowd smiles. We shoot. London being London.

Candid frames here are everything — laughter, movement, and that easy chemistry these two carry around.

Hyde Park in November — warm browns, cozy feels

From colour to calm: Hyde Park in November is made of warm browns and soft air. We leaned into the season — earthy paths, copper leaves, and that gentle London light you only get before winter arrives.
Khalid straightened his coat; Erin tucked her hair; the frames felt like pages from a classic novel set in London.

The Round Pond — swans, reflections, and quiet moments

We finished by the Round Pond, where one or two swans drifted like they’d been hired as extras. The water gave us perfect reflections; the breeze gave Erin’s hair a little lift.
A quiet hug, a smile you don’t pose, and London wrapped up the day for us.

Why this route works so well

  • Variety without chaos: Notting Hill’s colour + market energy → Hyde Park’s calm → Round Pond elegance.

  • Handheld freedom: We move fast, shoot naturally, and keep things fun — perfect for real reactions and zero-permit wandering.

  • Any weather is a look: Cloudy? Cinematic. Sunny? Postcard. November? Editorial browns.

Planning your Notting Hill pre-wedding

  • Best time: Early morning for quiet streets and soft light; market hours for lively candids.

  • Outfits: One polished (think coats, textures), one playful (movement-friendly).

  • Extras: A small bouquet or a scarf adds motion and colour against the houses and leaves.

Final thoughts

Erin & Khalid’s session had everything I love about London — personality, music in the streets, and parks that feel like they were built for long looks and quiet jokes.
If your idea of romance includes colourful houses and a swan or two, we’re going to get along brilliantly.
