Spring Pre-Wedding in London — Oey & Day’s Sakura Love Story

Meet Oey and Day, a lovely couple from Thailand who flew to the UK for their spring pre-wedding in London.
We began just after sunrise on Primrose Hill, watching the city light up beneath us. The skyline stretched endlessly — a perfect mix of romance and mist — while Oey’s veil floated dramatically in the wind. London couldn’t have scripted a better welcome. If you’re planning something similar, my London pre-wedding photoshoot guide covers the best seasons, routes, and permits.

As their London pre-wedding photographer, I wanted to capture the calm and excitement of those early moments — the kind of light you only get once in a while, and the laughter that never feels posed.

Big Ben, Red Booths & That London Energy

Next stop — Big Ben and those unmistakable red telephone booths by Westminster Station.
Every couple wants that shot, and rightly so — it’s London in a nutshell.
Oey’s flowing dress, Day’s sharp suit, and the constant flow of double-deckers made every frame alive and fun.

From there, we followed the River Thames, with the London Eye spinning gracefully behind them.
The breeze, the laughter, and that early spring sunlight — pure cinematic gold.

Bridges, Reflections & Thames Magic

We moved onto the bridge facing Big Ben, then across to the south bank for that perfect wide shot — London’s landmarks mirrored in the river.
No tripod, no problem; handheld freedom lets us chase the perfect light without paperwork.
Each frame felt spontaneous and alive — exactly what pre-weddings should be.

Sakura Blossoms and Staple Inn Charm

Spring means sakura season, and London’s parks were in full bloom.
We wandered beneath pink trees, petals floating like confetti.
Later, at the Staple Inn, the black-and-white Tudor façade gave us vintage London vibes — a little history to balance the modern skyline.

Tower Bridge & St Paul’s — Postcard London

The adventure continued to Tower Bridge, where the blue steel lines and cloudy sky turned dramatic — London at its grandest.
Then on to St Paul’s Cathedral, catching those sweeping stairs and glowing limestone walls.
A touch of elegance, a dash of architecture, and Oey’s veil doing its own choreography in the wind.

Hyde Park Serenity & Notting Hill Charm

We ended our day in Hyde Park, where the light turned warm and gentle — the kind of glow photographers dream of.
Finally, Notting Hill Station and its pastel streets gave us that cinematic, colourful finale.
Between the laughter, trains rumbling below, and one last kiss under the metro sign, it was the perfect closing scene.

Final Thoughts

Oey and Day’s London adventure had everything — city views, cherry blossoms, and a bit of drizzle for good luck.
It’s why I love being a London pre-wedding photographer: every corner hides a new frame, every couple brings their own rhythm.
