Best destination wedding photographer France
Welcome to France – one of the stunning places for destination wedding and specially for American couples. The beautiful wedding took place at the fantastic Chateau de Challain. A fairytale wedding venue, one of my favourite wedding photography locations. The place is just great – check those interiors and surroundings, sum it all up and you have the perfect environment for the best wedding photography.
The wedding was very intimate – just 2 people. That’s the least you can do. I suppose, but thats plenty – this way we had a lot of time for wedding photos both indoors, outdoors and the countryside of France. Check out those night shots, just beautiful with the Nikon D3s and fixed low light lenses. Anyway see the photos – if you’re planning a destination wedding in france and are looking for an advice, just contact me. Enjoy.
Intimate destination elopement in France, Kelly and Robert
Kelly and Robert came all the way from the United States of America to elope in the most beautiful french chateau. Since they met not long before the wedding they were freshly in love and you could feel the butterflies in their bellies. Instead of constantly getting in fights caused by wedding stress, they enjoyed every minute and second of their french summer wedding.
Hence this was a very hot french summer day the wedding dinner was also outside. The table was decorated with the finest french seasonal flowers like roses and hortenzias. And because of the wedding location the couple was spoiled with the finest french cuisine. That this was a genuinely romantic elopement in France.
Bridal portrait in Nikon Professional Magazine
Before the wedding ceremony I did some bridal portrait photos inside the breathtaking interior of Chateau Challain. Bride all dresses in white lace wedding gown was very natural in front of the camera. On of those photos where bride puts on her shoes was on the cover of Nikon professional magazine. I’m very proud of that.
As you can see this was an outdoor wedding ceremony which was held in the gazebo in the garden of the Chateau. As the master of the ceremony was a local french priest the couple giggled a bit at his English pronunciation and accent. With a bit of tears of happiness and loughs we had the perfect mix of emotions.

Two wedding cakes
Hence this was a very hot french summer day the wedding dinner was also outside. The table was decorated with the finest french seasonal flowers like roses and hortenzias. For spoiling their sweet tooth Kelly and Bob had two wedding cakes. One traditional American wedding cake, the other traditional french Croquembouche. Oh boy, that is a very difficult word to spell. Croquembouche is a beautiful tower of tiny profiteroles also called “choux”. Wrapped in delicious caramel and filled with the most mouth-watering creme pastry cream.
This was a genuinely romantic elopement in France.
Beautiful table setup.
May dusk in Chateau de Challain.
Love this one, perfect dinner for two.
