The wedding ceremony unfolded at the exquisite Villa Carlotta, a historic gem offering sweeping views of Lake Como. The celebration continued at the opulent Grand Hotel Tremezzo, where an intimate reception created lasting memories for the couple and their loved ones.

Lake Como bestowed its finest blessings on Kitri and Garrett’s day, gracing us with flawless weather, captivating scenery, and delectable cuisine. As I watched the couple share stolen glances and tender moments, I couldn’t help but marvel at how seamlessly their love blended with the magnificence of their surroundings.
A Boat Ride to Remember
Among the many highlights, a boat ride on the stunning Riva boats stands as a cherished memory. Gliding on the serene waters, we revealed in the enchantment of the lake from a unique perspective. The clarity of the water allowed us to glimpse fish and aquatic plants, adding an extra layer of magic to the experience.
How do I book a Riva boat in Lake Como?
Depending on where you want to begin your boat ride, you may rent a Riva boat through a hotel or other providers.
Some providers will allow you to book a private cruise, which is a great way to experience Lake Como at your own pace. You can dine on board the boat, or opt for pick-up from your hotel. Some tours may include a stop at the Bellagio, while others may be more nature-based. It all depends on what you’re looking for. Most tours last between 3 and 4 hours and can accommodate up to 9 passengers, so you won’t be cramped with other travellers.
How much is it to rent a private Riva boat on Lake Como?
Rental prices for a private boat on Lake Como range from 600 – 2500 EUR per hour, depending on the company, vessel, and other factors.
What to expect on a Riva boat ride?
The boat ride is about 30 minutes- to 6 hours long. You’ll be taken out to the middle of the lake, around the lake, and then back. The ride is smooth, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you are prone to seasickness. Riva boat, I love everything about them, the looks, the sound, the feel. As a Lake Como wedding photographer, I can admit that this boat ride was my favorite part of the wedding. Evening light is so perfect for photographs. And the boat is so elegant. I wish I could have one myself. I watched an old documentary about those times when legendary Riva boats were built. A true piece of art. Even today renovated Riva boat costs about EUR 100K.
Whenever I go there with a Riva boat the driver always recommends visiting the special place which is always the same. I still like going there as it is kind of special. This is the hidden Nesso waterfall. I shot there one of my best wedding photos.

Approaching the Grand Hotel Tremezzo was like stepping into a romantic time capsule. Dating back to 1910, this treasure of the Belle Epoque era offers panoramic views of Lake Como.
